What I've learned over the years is that there are many variations of the term 'demon'. Some people think they're horrible entities, while others think they're disgraced gods, etc. I want to know what you all think, what are demons taught you? Are they kind or cruel? Malicious or pure?
Well some people were born demons and some go to hell and turn into demons or some people meet dark powerful beings and they want to be demons so the beings turn them into demons. Some demons don't want to be demons and they serve the good.
Demons, as you said, relate closely to disgraced gods. It's that they're lower beings than gods, and some prefer it that way. They have personalities like humans. They see us as "bargains". If we are to gain something out of working with them, they expect something to gain aswell, and they sometimes take more than they settled for.
Some, I've noticed, want as much attention as possible while others will want much seclusion and obscurity as possible.
Another thing to keep in mind, it's not appropriate to call them good or bad because they can act on whims or act for pure entertainment or fun for themselves.
They can be aggressive, some are pacified. They do see themselves higher up than humans, and they are, so treat them as a Noble!
The world it self described any spirit or deity in ancient Greece. So that inherent evil is just another christian misconception, even angels are by definition demons.
Demons have a will of their own just like we do. Some can trusted while other can't. Some would throw themselves in danger way for, while other would put you in dangers way. They are like human but spiritual beings. They aren't inherently even but like other have said, they have a bad rep because of certain religions. Any other questions, just ask.

See,demons are good and bad.like humans,they got make and female.there are different kinds of them .some of them really hurt you because they maybe jealous of you.they mostly want a body to poses,to hurt humans.there are others that even protect u.they are called assistance.they even try to talk to u.some of them try to make you wish something from them so they can then tell u that u owe them something and so,they get everything you have.others can come to your dream,etc.there are a lot of demon kinds like the man kind.and a person who is devoted to his religion and to God,they can't even touch u :-)
