Recently I've been getting more and more into witchcraft after a long story of realising I think this is my fate. To see what I am capable of I've been trying out new things. Lately I've been verbally saying quietly to myself things that I want done right then. I was standing behind this woman the other day at the store, because she was taking a very long time and I was in a bit of a hurry, I looked at her and under my breath said "with haste you will leave" before I knew it the woman had given up and was leaving the store. Again, yesterday, I had to go to the airport for a flight out and while I was waiting for my flight to begin boarding there was this woman with a child that was crying and screaming, it had been going on for a few minutes. I could sense the woman was exhausted with this child. I looked over, into the child's eyes from a distance and said "Silence, my child." Immediately the child stopped crying and screaming and began to drink from his cup. Does anyone think I am messing with free will and using black magic? Or should I be okay to continue using my abilities?

While it is possible to influence people, you're not truly taking away their free will. On some level, the influenced person has to accept your energy, even if it is not consciously done. I think it'd be fine to continue practicing so long as you don't get an ego and think you can control people. I'll leave the morality decisions up to you.
Use it for good and you should be fine. The line between white and black isn't always clear cut so follow your own moral/ethical guidelines.
And congrats on being able to achieve the things you have. It is certainly a milestone to be able to accomplish things by simply willing it to happen. I remember when I accomplished things similar to those on the spur of the moment and how encouraging it can be. But it also reminded me that it does come with a certain responsibility. Because I can do that, I am careful about having harmful thoughts when it comes to others. Now that I know I can do it, I only use it as a last resort and never to harm. Does it interfere with free will? That is a grey area sometimes. But does it harm anyone? Definitely not.

good for you! :D
youre not really controlling them persay... more or less suggesting something that they have to consider (very basic way to discribe magick i know)
also magick has no color, but no, i wouldnt call it black. your not controlling. maybe making them aware they are bothering others, the woman was taking forever, the child too loud, etc.
your not harming them

Let's take a step back to look at a few things. First of all, it's not possible to take away free will because we can't control others. Second of all, not everyone works with their chakras, so please don't use the "Third Eye" or Sixth Chakra out of its original context. Not only is that useless, it's detrimental to all involved.
Third of all, when people say "Black magic" and "White magic", no one thinks different types of magic has literal color to it. I think we're all grown up enough to know we don't live fantasy RPGs. Because of that, it's useless to say things like "Magic has no color" as the colors are merely labels to use for intent.
Expanding on that, I think people mix up intent with the outcome as to wether or not someone should classify a certain action as negative or positive. If one's intent is hostile, aggressive, or one simply wants a bad outcome, their action would classify under black magic (if you want to use those labels). This would still be the case even if the outcome was for the "greater good" or ended up benefiting people. The reverse is true for the saying "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions".
That's literally all black and white magic is - labels for intent.

The baby stopped crying because it got what it wanted, a drink. The woman would have left the store even if you had not been there. And none of what you have written has anything to do with witchcraft.
Eissy, Yes, the labels made it more clear to state what I was asking. I'm aware they are just labels. I just don't believe in harming others which is why I asked these questions.
As for Brysing, this has happened on other occasions leading me to believe I truly do have this ability. It may not be witchcraft but it is something out of the norm. If you had been there you would have saw. The woman in the store was not going anywhere anytime soon, she insisted on continuing to harass the woman. The child in the airport already had his drink, it was within reach the entire time. It wasn't like the mother had just handed it to him. Something else was bothering the child, as for what I don't know, but when I did what I did he became silent immediately.
I believe it's timing, not you. I wasn't there so I can't say for certain but I doubt you did it. But you are convinced you're responsible, so there's no point in arguing.
Anyway, your free will question, I would say yes. Maybe you're not doing something life-threatening, but you are casting over others to get your way. You wanted the woman to leave, she left, you wanted the child to stop crying, he did.
If I were you, I would try to keep calm and use this power when it's absolutely necessary. Children cry, sometimes for no reason other reason than the room echoes and it sounds cool to them, people have bad days, or need a large order of something, getting them to stop is like walking up and going 'excuse me, but I'm more important than you, be quiet and leave.' You're not a mind reader, you don't know what's going on in their heads. The child could of thought he was out of juice, the woman could of been buying things for a sick friend and was upset because of the friends health, you don't know.
No you are not messing with free will, it was timing. Any other factors could be taken in the women might have noticed something or remembered something else that needed doing, the noise of a voice alone can stop a baby crying and the fact it knew what you were saying is doubtful it heard a soft soothing voice got distracted and had a drink. No one can mess with free will.
I agree that it may not have been witchcraft (as one can perform magick without being a witch) but let's also not forget that magick is about affecting subtle changes so sometimes it can appear in the form of a number of favourable coincidences which occur. Favourable here being "that which I want happen." It doesn't have to be a grandiose gesture. Will we ever know if it was magick or not? No, we won't but to explicitly say it had nothing to do with Lukas99's will is not correct either.
If such happens once or twice, then maybe it has nothing to do with you but if it consistently happens, then it just might have something to do with the energy you project out. Only Lukas99 will know this.
