Make my runes my own?

I bought a set of runes from a wiccan shop last may and I havent touched them since because I want to make them my own... But I honestly have no idea how. Can anyone lend me some words of advice or maybe some spells I can use? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!!

The making of runes doesn't require any spells or magical tools, but some wood and a knife. I only speak the simplest way of making runes. You can cut up the wood into 25 little peices and carve the runes into there.

I have runes already, I just want to make them my own, you know?

Ah, sorry! I have misunderstood! One way to do that is to use them! I remember getting some Carnelian runes and once I got them, I got a very happy vibe from them as if they were happy to be with me.

The tradition way to "color" the runes is with your own blood. If you do not wish to do this, the alternative is to mix a drop of your blood into red ink (who doesn't cut themselves once in a while on accident?) or if you have skin of steel, mix some of your saliva into red ink and declare it "my blood, my life, my spirit" to link it to you as it should be. Then use a fine bristle brush to paint over each rune with this ink and galdr them as you do so. I find that it is best to color and invoke only 2-3 a day until they are complete.
