Wiccan teacher

I am looking for a Wiccan teacher, I want to learn more then I do now. If you would like to help please let me know. Merry Meet!

I just read a post and I feel I need to go into more detail in what I am asking for. I know the belives of Wiccan, that is not what I want to have a teacher help me with. I also have all my own sabath rites that I use. I just want some one to help me with runes, herbs, and astrolgy in how it falls into place. I have tried to read up on it. I have not found something that does not confuse me. Also if any one has had this problem and knows of any book that can help I would be greatful. Merry Meet!

Hi SpiritWolf94. For runes I wouild recommend the book " Taking Up the Runes " by Diana Paxson as a good place to start. And as a start on magical herbs you might want to try " Magical Herbalism " by Scott Cunningham.

If you have any specific questions about Wicca I'd be glad to try to answer them for you or point you at good resources. But as far as having a mentor, that is better done where student and teacher can meet face to face. You might try the listings for MO in Witchvox at http://www.witchvox.com/vn/hm/usmo.html The site lists individuals, groups, and shops in your state where you might be able to find a teacher closer to you.

And check with the shop to see if they offer classes, many of them do. That can be a good place to start and to meet others in the local magical community so you can get a feel for whether you'd want a person as your teacher or not.
