Myrrh Resin. Commonly used in witchcraft, by wiccans, and in Pagan religions. But also in Christianity. It was given as one of the gifts (also with Frankincense and gold) to baby Jesus by the Three Wise Men. At the time when Jesus was born, Myrrh Resin was at a high, used by many of the magic users. Well i dont hate christians everyone is free to choose the religion they wish to follow. I'm not sure why some christians are afriad of magick(fear perhaps).

well christians have a false idea of magick. when a christian follower hears the word magick, demons come in their mind that to evil demons who would destroys their life at last.
also according to christian belief when the end is near a person would come to this world and claims to be christ that to does miracles in other sense magick. he is known as anti christ or the devil........
all this together gives a bad image of magick to them.
i am a christian and one who tends to study more of magick.
I don't hate christains. In fact when I turned muslim, it was the christians who were kindest! (maybe they were scared lol). It is mostly athiests (my family including) who mock you for your beliefs. Though not all athiests are bad either.
If you think christians are bad, you should go to an islamic country, the punishment in shariah law, is execution for many things including:
being apostate (leaving islam)
practising magick
killing a muslim (though if you are forgiven then bloodmoney can be accepted instead of public execution).
Helping a non-muslim opress a muslim.
Mocking the religion (I think anyway).
Point is, I'm not allowed to be muslim no more because islam throws out anyone practising magick.
But my neck is still unsevered so thank God for Head and shoulders
Hmm that is an interesting thought. I consider myself many religions put thogether(including Christian, Pagan, and Wiccan) so it gets on my nerves when ppl down talk them. I also wanted to mention this before some one comes and craps up my post: I did not start this looking for a fight. I did it because I believe strongly in religious tolerance by all. So please do not argue about this. We are all people. Listen to what Cooljo and Lady O said. They both seem to have religious tolerance and repect.
Maybe I'm a little hyped about religion today cause I watched the Da Vinci Code last night. But people are still killed every day because of their religion. -Catty
I know people who area part of many different faiths and i find religion in genral a very interesting subject. Ilove hearing peoples thoughts and perpectives from the other side of the fece so to speak. You can strike up interesting discussion without the need to arguee.
i am frm india.. and u know india is famous for religious riot. people kill each other almost twice in a year in the name of religion. past one of these days someone put a pigs head in the compound of a muslim church. and many of the muslims were attacking hindus for this reason here. and a major strike had happened...
then those muslims are not practising islam.
In the time of muhammad (muslim prophet), a guy once decided to pee in the masjid (mosque/muslim church) and the muslims were about to attack him but muhammad told them not too.
Later muahhamd spoke to the man and told him that the masjid was a place for prayer and not for urination. His kind words affected him so much he later became muslim.
Ages ago the anglicans (british) use to throw cow and pig blood at the indians (I think in salamanca) as an insult to the hindus and muslims. But that does not mean the christian religion teaches such disgust.

Just because theres a bad driver does not mean that the car is bad, it just has to be driven as it supposed to be driven.
