I have an issue. My parents don't know that I'm Wiccan and I'm not exactly sure how to tell them. My mom was raised as a Catholic and has strong beliefs against magic and other things in that area. She almost skinned me alive for even mentioning tarot cards. As for my dad, although I can't stand the man, he would kill me. So if y'all could help me out that would be great. I can't figure out how to tell them about being Wiccan. Please help me out guys. Thank you all. And blessed be.
Under those circumstances, I would keep it a secret for now, until your at least the legal age of 18. It would save you alot of crying, anger and stress. Take it from me.
As previously stated, I'd recommend saving it for yourself until you are either living alone or of legal age; especially if you feel your safety could be put into question. If both your parents are Catholic and are close-minded to the idea of Magick or anything of the sort, then presenting yourself as Wiccan to them could bring alot of trouble, bullying, and could lay a decent amount of stress on you. Although it may be difficult keeping your beliefs a secret, when it comes to the circumstance you are under, it may be the best option for you to carry out.

Yes,keep it secret. It always amuses me when I hear a Catholic say that he/she does not believe in magic; when a priest uses magic every morning at Mass. I was brought up a Catholic, went to a Catholic school. At the same time I was learning witchcraft. Very often I would see a devout Catholic go into church,buy a small candle, light it from the other candles on the rack; and then kneel to say a prayer to God, or a Saint.
They have just cast a spell!
If you have to be afraid of your parents over something as innocent as magic, then they are the ones who are in the wrong, not you by keeping it a secret. Once you're out on your own, teeling them is viable because they can't do anything to you. But still, people who will hurt you don't need to know you.
Just keep it to yourself. You aren't doing anything wrong by keeping it to yourself, and no one will judge you for being in the broom closet (at least they shouldn't).
If it's something you really want to tell them for whatever reason, there is no better way than to sit them down and say it bluntly and honestly.
However, if they're as closed minded as you say it would most likely save you a great deal of hardship to just keep it to yourself, and if you feel like dropping it on them when you move out and aren't depending on them anymore then go for it.
