Just have belief in your magic.

spell casting magick is an energy you need to learn what it can and cannot do [it is nothing like the movies] and how to tap into it. belief is an important part because without belief you're just reading words. magick is a neutral energy found in nature, it is part of nature that works with, not against nature. spells cannot make you fly, grow wings, become any mythological creature, turn invisible, teleport, time travel, or anything else you saw in movies. real magick effects the energy around us to subtly bring the desired change. [it's more in common with prayer than anything in Harry Potter]
