Signs a spell is working

I'm not new to spell casting, but I'm not an expert either. Sometimes I have trouble discerning whether or not a spell is working. I like to take certain things as signs, but then I question it and just think it's me assuming it's a sign. If you need more information I would be happy to share.

This is a really familiar problem to me, it's common to self-sabotage yourself and question whether a sign is a sign, but part of spellcasting is to leave it be and assume it's going to work. Looking for signs and then discarding them is showing a lack of confidence in your own abilities, and might actually damage your intent. Instead of worrying, take the sign as a sign and let it lift your confidence, that way you'll boost the power and even if it wasn't actually working yet, you might even jumpstart it. Confidence in the outcome can be the deciding factor on whether it works, so feel strong and be patient. Some things take time :)

Yes grace proves an exelent point! One of the first tips of magick is to belief in yourself. The more you believe in magick and that you can perform it, the better and stronger your spells/rituals will be!

I use dreams as a sign and the feelings I feel in my heart and what beautiful thoughts that my mind thinks. The other night I had a dream that gave me hope that the spell that I had casted for me will work for sure. Now that I have had that dream, I can focus on a much stronger positive energy to help the spell work just as I had hoped. I had a break up spell done on the man that I love and his current girlfriend and my spell caster and their powerful witch friend casted the spell along with a love spell to get him to give me his heart. So I have been very patently waiting trying my best to think positive and that it will work.
