In many threads there are mentions of words you have to say to complete a spell can you make your own words or is there specific and words for spells?

depends on the spell.

If youre using ritual magic and invoking or evoking, your words have to be correct in terms or names and words of power.

For a lot of witchcraft stuff, your own are fine.
