Cleansing candles

I recently cast a spell on someone I know in hopes of making his home sickness ease to help him ease in his process of moving. But since I cast it, he has stopped speaking to me and I want to reverse the spell the best I can but the only candles I have are the ones I used for the spell. How can I cleanse Votive candles in a glass jar? I don't feel that charging them with positive energy will be enough to reverse anything. I know how to cleanse normal candles but not candles in glass.

How I cleanse my jar candles is that I use my spiecal cleansing water and get a rag and clean the jar till it feels clean to me, some people will use oils.
