I'm a beginner in the craft so i seriously need help here!
Cause of work I'm on my feet a lot and that leads to serious pain in my heels that is starting to spread. I need something that a beginner like me can make or if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Well, what you could do is soak them in hot water with Epsom salt. You can even add lavender to it to calm the muscles, or peppermint to ease inflammation.

I don't know anything magical that might help, but maybe some rest would do your feet good. Unless it's really bad, then I suggest going to a docter.

Good shoes, really good supportive shoes. Ice about three to five times a day for no more then 15 min the entire foot and heel. Then there are some poltices and or essential oil salves that can help.with the inflammation but it depends on any allergies and other things. But that's a good place to start.

Birch essential oil blended with a carrier oil applied to the bottom of your foot and then iced will help but is not recommend for anyone that could be pregnant also a poultice of Arnica applied to the bottom of your foot can help with inflammation. Also I have seen over the counter Arnica gel that can be bought at health food stores and some drug stores which will also work. Make sure you ice or use either one of these on the whole foot. Many times with the type of foot pain you are describing the inflammation can actually be in a different place on the foot then where you actually feel the pain.

From what I learned in cosmetology school in our foot chapter, to release pain in the heal, pressure should be applied towards the top of the arch, between the ball and where the third "toe knuckle" sits. The arch actually undergoes a lot of pressure when standing up for long periods of time, especially that specific spot. This can cause one to involuntarily put more pressure on the heal to alleviate it. Simply take you thumb and hold pressure to the spot for a few seconds, and then rubbing outward in circles. Also, on the outside of the heel, (the side that points away from you,) theres a pressure point that isn't directly in the back, but slightly on the side. By massaging this point, you can also alleviate some aching. Rubbing the feet can also help with some back pain too!
