help me figure this out

So I occasionally get something like a feeling/thought that something will happen then it happens later. Is this just random or is there something to it.

Hard to say, based on the information you've given. Try keeping a journal with times and dates written down, and see if you can then see a pattern emerge.

The way I have read your post (though don't take my words for it) is you have intellect, and by that I mean most futuristic possibilities relate to your mathematical logical thinking patterns, as an example, if I were with my friend, and I notice he is carrying/fumbling apples in a thin plastic bag, I can then guess through numerical logic how many seconds it will take for the bag to break based on (for lack of my natural vocabulary) strength divided by weight.

Intuition is like that sometimes. Everyone has those moments
