This is the Codex for the coven. Several important bits of information will be summarized here, and links provided, to help new members get to know the functionality of the coven. If you have any questions or need help navigating any of the following materials, please send me a mail.
Activity Members must log on every two weeks, and must show activity within the chatter/forums monthly. Activity is judged individually per member. Inactive members may be removed from the coven.
Common Sense
This is the biggest rule of the coven. Use your logic and reasoning skills. If something seems questionable and you think you shouldn't do it- don't do it.
House Rules Having a bit of fun is allowed in the chatter (i.e. cussing in moderation, horsing around, etc) but be wise about it. Treat your fellow members with respect. No bullying, harassing, etc. Try to keep coven affairs within the coven. Do not start drama.
Roleplay There is to be no roleplaying within this coven. No spreading of fiction or fantasy. If roleplay is seen, it will be nipped in the bud. Any member who continues to roleplay will be removed.
Site Rules While using public chat and forum, you are an extension of the coven and should represent it well. Follow the site rules. If you are gagged for some reason, your gagged account will be removed from the coven and you may reapply with the Priest/ess.
Member Acceptance and Removal New members will be able to apply to the coven. To get in, they must first submit a small application to the Priest/ess. Members accepted into the coven are on an auto-trial for two weeks post acceptance. If a member seemingly doesn't "fit" within the group they may be removed during this time period. Members who are inactive or who break rules may also find themselves removed from the coven, as determined by the Priest/ess, with/without warning. Typically members will have a three strike policy and will be warned.
Promotion and Duties of Council Council will be members of the coven that are hand-picked by the Priest/ess. The positions are earned by a member's activity within the coven and their overall behavior, usefulness, etc. Council members will be given specific duties within the coven and may earn individual titles (Spellbook Keeper, Member Overseer, etc). Council will all assist the Priest/ess in running the coven administratively.
Comments, Issues and Misc Any issues within the coven (squabbling between members, for instance) should be directed towards the Priest/ess and kept to a minimum. If you have suggestions or comments on how the coven should function or work, feel free to discuss it with the Priest/ess and make a forum post.
