Hi I am confused because I know what my spirit animal is but the don't know what it means. I tried to look it up but I couldn't find anything, my spirit animal and s a gecko, does anyone know what that means?
"The Egyptians and the Greeks considered lizards as symbolic of good fortune and intelligence. The Egyptian hieroglyphics also uses lizard to convey 'many' or 'plentiful.' There is a general tradition about gecko, spelt gecko in Latin, which means fortune, re-growth and overall life"
I found a couple of meanings for Gecko as a Spirit Animal. See which resonates with you:

Gecko can teach how to maneuver in this transition phase of mental, spiritual and emotional death and rebirth. He will show how to emerge successfully in this spectacular change within your Self. When Gecko appears it is also a time to pay attention to dreams and visions for he will show how to shift and molt perspectives. Are you holding too tightly to current perceptions and ideas? Gecko:
Having the ability to see through the transparency of life and get to the core of a situation (they have a transparent membrane over their eyes instead of an eyelid), naturally intuitive, seeing things from different angles, blending into the background and moving through life unseen, sticking with people and ideas, pay attention to where you arewalking and don't get stuck goingdown the wrong path. A cute little creature, but one that has managed to achieve great things. Geckos can originate from one country and within the space of 10 years be found in many other locations around the world suggesting the work of a quiet achiever. It also has the feel of networking; sending out your eyes and your ears to gather in information. The Gecko can move on and up any smooth surface with ease. It could represent the ability to tackle any problem with ease. The gecko female is parthenogenic meaning that it can reproduce without a male so it could also represent versatility and the ability to work alone without need of assistance from others. http://spiritwalkministry.com/spirit_guides/reptile_animal_spirits
