Candle spells

There are a couple of spells I am looking at on this site which involve candles, but it does not mention if you should blow them out when the spell is cast or let them burn out. Are there any general rules when it comes to casting spells with candles? If it doesn't mention either then which should I do?

(one rule is not to burn urslef, another is use a color candle like white or black (ex.) that matches the type of magic ur using)

i think ur supposed to put it out wit 1 of those candle snuffers, they r really long and looks like a bell on 1 end, they make pretty ones 2, i like mine ^___^

I've always been told you should let them burn out by themselves but if you have to put them out don't blow them out, either use a candle snuffer or pinch the wick between your fingers.

OK, thanks for the comments. Just another quick question, if you snuff the candles out, can they be re-used for another spell or another attempt at the same spell or do you need fresh candles each time?

Its not a good idea to reuse candles because you charged them for a specific purpose. But if you have to go ahead just make sure you recharge it.

When you say charge the candles, is this the same as annointing them with oil and meditating on the spell you are about to perform? Sorry for all the questions, it is just that I am relatively new to this and want to do things properly.

It is best to use a candle only once and let it burn out. Use small candles like tea lights, small tapers, or birthday candles.

To charge a candle you put energy into to it by anointing it with oil or touching it with your projective hand.

OK thanks, that's what I thought. I have just bought some candles, but they are about 8 inches which would take ages to burn. I will try and source some smaller ones.

they r called charm candles, u can get them for maybe a quarter or 50 cents, i like them ^__^
