I know there is no answer to the meaning of life but I would love to hear other peoples' ideas. Personally I believe that humans exist to exist. Humans have accomplished so much such as building a civilization where we have laws etc. Another idea I have is where perhaps humans exist to wonder. Humans have been wondering ever since they have existed. People wonder what happens after death, if god exists etc. So uh yeah, I'd like to hear your ideas on the meaning of life.
Interesting enough, I believe that the meaning of life, as humans, is to pursue that meaning. As a civilization that continuously changes and makes discoveries, one of the many things that remains illusive is Life. Although at the same time I find that searching for such an answer is futile for many people (not all), as they do not consider the lives of others at many times. In fact I believe while the pursuit is admirable, humanity as it is now, must never find that answer. The results would be calamitous.
In my opinion, life is its own meaning. It is a shared journey along which we all travel slightly different paths.
It does not need its own purpose, as a meaning denotes a specific end goal. Such an end goal is not universal, save in death, but even that has different meaning to different people.
Life itself is the meaning of life. It is a journey; trying to determine some ultimate destination is fruitless, as so often a bridge cannot be known until it is crossed.
I agree with HarborHim. To actually reach the lines of understanding even bits of what it really seem to be, is a point no of return. Idk it could be like selling your soul to the devil without the temporary leisure. I think, humanity is somehow well-maintained by the ignorance of it.
I watched a video once of a guy who was searching Google for the meaning of life, he said: "In the end of this video, I'll tell you guys the meaning of life" . The video was ending, and the guy just stopped searching turned to the camera and finally said: "After all this search, I think none of these results are it. But I know the meaning of life. And it is to live. Why look for a meaning to life, when you can just live it? If you were given life, take advantage of it and live it." ...
Based on this, I created my own philosophy of the meaning of life. Which is "Live each moment fully, because it'll never come back the same"
