Love Binding or Love Me?

"Lamar and I were dating and we were VERY happy. When his ex girlfriend (Dora) found out he was dating someone she came back into the picture. He feels obligated to be with her because they have a history but has said that he is not in love with her anymore and know things will not change between them. He isn't the kind of guy to say things unless he means them. He has told me several times that he wishes he had met me before and I was the person that he had always been looking for. We have soooo much in common and are very happy when we are together. I would like for her to leave him alone and go away and for him and I to get back together. Everyone has commented on how happy we are together and how miserable he is with her. " We have a connection that I have never felt before.
