Controlling shadows?
By:
So recently I posted a question about my being able to form thread like lines of shadow between my fingers. I was told it could be psi energy, but does anyone have any ideas of what else it could be?

In a slightly dim room, I focus my energy to my fingers, I feel an electric like tingle, and when I separate them I have a dark shadowy line between them. Doing it often fatigues me, so it's difficult to experiment with, but forming threads is easier than a ball. I get slight tingle and pressure on any finger I touch it with, so there is something there..

Does anyone have any other ideas?

That would just be your brain making you a joke. Magick and psychic powers can have absolute control over the energy around them and as controlling the darkness would be just like control a pure force of natural energy completely, something that we can, it is impossible. That only appears in movies and TV series/shows

The visual anomaly in this case is a known psychological phenomenon. You experience a sensation, and your brain insists there must be a physical reason. It is dark, so your brain tries to fill the gap. Since there is a lack of input, the output becomes fabricated.

It is the same with scrying, and with staring into one's own reflection for long periods of time -- especially in low light. People will experience their own face becoming completely unrecognizable, and some will interpret this as being the face of another entityn

And that is where the line is drawn between fact and belief in this case: it us factually known what the effect is and how it works at a physiological and psychological level. But it us still legitimately used for other purposes, and interpreted by the individual in different ways.

The skrying is a unique idea, I’ll look into it. Im not staring at it for a long time to force an image though, and the room is only very slighty dark. Thank you for the idea though.
