hey every one i'm new here and just wanted to learn some things about sleep paralysis since i get it every now and again, i don't fear it but when it happens it feels like something evil is trying to get in side me. i tried taunting it once just because i got mad that it kept coming back, it really didn't like that. would also like to learn to help friend who get the same thing happen
any advice?

For some, when you sleep your spirit flees from your body. In order to that the sleep paralysis would happen because of the spirit that didn't get back well to the body, leaving you between this and other reality. According to this theory, if you've ever seen any kind of spirit, it is because of that other reality.
To get off of sleep paralysis is not hard, begin blinking your eyes, getting more control of your face; moving fingers, then hands; toes, feet; soon your arms and legs and then your hole body, and you're off of sleep paralysis. Hope I helped, sometimes it feels horrible to not control yourself and see things you don't want. Some say you can actually make use of it to access that other reality, and becoming bond with it; but the choice is yours weather you want to keep with it or not.
During the actual paralysis you cannot control your body enough to bring yourself out of it. It wears off with time once awake. I had to research it because several of those close to me have it. While some faiths may believe there is something special to it (though I have never heard such a thing) it is simply a disorder where the neurotransmitters in your brain are not responding as quickly as you wake.
I mean no disrespect, but if your soul was not in your body you would not be conscious within your body. You would be seeing yourself from another persons perspective, not through your own physical eyes. Sleep paralysis is also not a means of going into another realm.
I told the experience of some I've seen and also from what I know about it. About not being able to control your body enough, I took what I told from a documentary of a person who had it and that helped her and also others who used the method. Talking about using it to vist other realms and etc. It was also another experience of a person who said he could see and feel presences and understand them better with each paralysis. By no means I actually said I do believe it, I just told what I've read, seen and heard. It never happened to me or someone near me. And, I was trying to help. But thanks for the observation, I'll sure recall it later on :)
