Best spells for beginners
By:
Hi there!

I'm relatively new with magic, and I'd love to know if anyone knows any spells that are.... suited for newbies like me. I have little experience with magic, but I'd love to learn about it~!

If you are new to magic I suggest education not spells. Once you understand what magic is, how it works, what it can do and what it cannot do you will be able to learn how to create your own spells.

There are also some basic skills that I recommend: meditation, visualization, grounding, centering, circle casting, and energy work

The first five posts in general information will help you. So will some books, I like Scott Cunningham and Donald Kraig as authors.

the SIMPLEST is probably ancestor work and candle magic.

for candle magic simply learn about the association between the various colors and oils and all that.

once you're actually in the process of using it all you need to do is :

1 (optional):anoint the candle with whatever oil.

2: state your intent and light your candle

3: meditate and focus on your intent, focusing on the candle until it burns out.

4: do whatever closing you have.
