Spell Dream Advice

Hey, Im starting this thread for a bit of advice, usually I focus on divination since it's been a gift of mine since childhood. I've dabbled in spell casting with great results but suddenly I'm left confused. I recently casted a spell to strengthen a relationship and shortly after I dreamt of the person on which the spell was cast. This clearly is to indicate the direction in which my spell is manifesting, what leaves me confused is my intent was to stregthen our relationship , in my dream the person I casted the spell on was desperately trying to communicate with me , but I was resistant, this leaves Me confused when my goal is nothing but to bring forth a stronger bond. ,I feel as if I'm missing the message? Does it mean I need to do more in my part? Or does it mean my spell is not meant to be . Any insight would be helpful.

I'm no specialist in dream interpretation, but it's possible that your unconscious mind simply doesn't want to be as close to the person as you think you do.

If you think it was a psychic dream, perhaps this person already wished to speak to you, and somehow you are making them feel as if you don't want to be close to them.

Without more context, that's all I can think of on the topic.
