HoTM: Patchouli

November's herb of the month is Patchouli!

Which parts of this plant do you use and how do you use it? What do you think of the scent and texture? Do you prefer the plant or oil? Do you use it for strictly metaphysical purposes or medicinal as well? Come discuss! <3

I myself would like to use this in a money spell working. I have found this herb and some ways to "sweeten" a candle using candle magick. I have two articles I would like to share with you all. The first is metaphysical, the second is medicinal. One day when things settle down I would like to start a garden. I know how to dry herbs and have containers to put them in. Ultimately I am sure it will be a money saver. I think of all the ways a lot of these herbs can be used in beauty treatments, teas, in cooking, for medical uses such as topically to treat burns, redness, etc. Then how you can use them in soaps and cleansing baths. Then I just think to myself, "man, I should just get me a garden at that point!"
