do I need a witch circle?

Do I need to create a witches circle before performing spells, or can some work without it? I am also a level one reiki student, how can I incorporate that in my spells?

There are very few spells that NEED a circle, but some can be easier with it

I would recommend using a circle whenever working with magic. Conjuring the elements is also helpful in any spell. Especially when working with candle magic

It's generally accepted that a circle is good practice in that it protects your workings from outside influence, sets a mood and helps to put you in the spellcasting mindframe like a warmup before exercise, you get to flex your casting "muscles". That said, any kind of sacred space ritual can be used to the same effect, even if it's just burning some sage and sitting quietly for a few moments while you collect yourself. You shouldn't need a protective casting unless you're usually easily disturbed by outside influences, or you're doing spirit work, or anything morally questionable.
Your Reiki experience will assist with some intuitive knowledge of and experience with energy work that'll stand you in good stead in a lot of areas, and if you have meditation experience it's a definite advantage as well, as it's a skill that does need to be learned and exercised.

I have effectively done spellwork without ever having cast a circle. I think it is really a choice and preference thing. Some people do, some don't. It's whatever works best for you!

so how exactly would you effectively cast a spell and incorporate reiki?

Well you could perform a bit on yourself before starting out, as part of grounding and centering, and your practice at feeling the energy will help when raising energy for a spell. It will incorporate itself in that the skills you've developed in one will transfer to the other :)
