Pain from surgery

Doctors administered pain killers and anesthesia for a surgery to my wife, who has had extreme pain that settled in her right shoulder after the medication wore off. A year later the pain is crippling at times in right shoulder and right hip. How can i draw out the poisen that settled in her body?
