Help Identifying A Stone
By:
Hi! So, my friend send me some stones from overseas, but I can't seem to identify it! I wish to, so that I know if I can put it in water/sunlight or not!
So after my description maybe I could get a few suggestions so i can look it up and find out? thanks in advance xx
It looks murky, swampy a yellow green, kind of like an unripe apple, there's a few carbon flecks on the surface (if that helps?), primarily yellow.

It would be best if you took a photo of it and posted it onto your profile so people can actually view it and give a more accurate identification.

You could google lists of crystals and try to find one that looks like it. From there you could do research on it. It would probably give you an answer sooner than waiting for people to make suggestions here.

Not sure exactly, but it might be some sort of agate. Here are some sites with pictures where you might find your stone:

And take a look at these pictures of rainforest jaspar to see if they are similar https://www.etsy.com/market/rainforest_jasper

Hey thank you so much! In the first link it looked much like yellow Jade, just more green :+)
Also i'd like to say I have looked myself, I'm just simply hoping that I can get a few more opinions, because they really can be hard to identify.
Thank you! The links were very helpful and I have them saved xx
