Mentor needed please

Every spell i try doesnt work but i dont want to give up because i really think magick is real please help me

what spells are you trying?

Educate yourself on what magic is, how it works, what it can do and what it cannot do. The art of magic is not something one should try to do without knowledge. There are many things that one can learn and several things that should be learned before trying to cast a spell. Learn skills that will help you in spell casting, some of which would be meditation, visualization, energy work, grounding, centering, and learning how to write spells.

I like Scott Cunningham’s work. Wiccan type.
Raymond Buckland is decent as well. Wiccan
Modern Magick by Donald M. Kraig - ceremonial
Basic Sigil Magic by Phillip Cooper – his own way

Also, keep in mind that if you are trying spells from this site, not all of them are real spells. My advice is that you look for books about what you would like to achieve in using magic and go from there. As always, the forums are open to you if you have any other questions.

Another great resource is the internet, if you can find the good ones. I know Jeffery Pierce has a wealth of information on his site OldWays.com , including daily lessons on general practice.

Also, it's important to remember that magick is subtle. To quote Mr Pierce from his site, "There's no such thing as 'kaboom' magick." The theatrical, fire-ball-throwing, explosive-type magick Hollywood likes to advertise just isn't viable. Magick is a force of nature, and even tornadoes and earthquakes are centuries in the making. It takes time and understanding of magick and our own limits to work the Craft.
