My First Spell

So I just cast my first spell.

Basically what I did was look up recovery spells on this site.

My dog recently just got attacked by another dog and has scars all over his body, my intention for this spell was to wish him a speedy and well recovery.

I searched along the website and found this one:

So I looked at everything and decided I couldn't do most of it since I didn't have the resources. So instead, I turned off all my lights and cut off a piece of my dogs fur. Sat down and chanted the spell towards that.

Did I do it right or wrong or??

Sounds like that's all you need, friend. Magick is focused on the individual, in my opinion, so I wouldn't worry too much about the how's and what's of the spell. You legitimately want your dog to recover, right? So the intent is there. Sounds like you've got nothing to worry about.
