i dreamt i killed myself

i had a dream last night that a was in a public space (kind of like a ceremony of some sort) and i put a dagger in my chest. i started to bleed as a walked amongst the crowd. I began to faint and before my head hit the floor i woke up. I woke up really confused and there are a bunch of "explanations" on the internet but I'd like to know what you all think

First and foremost dreams can be just dreams- no inherent meaning, just nonsense your brain vomits up. As for interpretation, only you can do that, what does the idea of death mean to you? What do public places mean to you?

For someone who suffers from social anxiety, I would ascribe this dream to being a dramatisation of their anxiety eating away, a dagger to the chest likens to the feeling of anxiety and the erratic heart beat, the act of suicide the realisation that it is the Self causing this anxiety, not the public space.

For someone who does not suffer from anxiety or any other mental illness this could be just a dream. Or the killing of the self could highlight the need to literally kill parts of the Self- the ego, or other personality traits which are unpleasant and which one needs to tame in order to grow.

It could also refer to a desparation to escape some sort of public event you plan on attending.

It really all depends on you, your inner symbolic language, and your own circumstances.
