Personally i think he uses some psi, but most of his act is based on illusion, the rest he accomplishes with the use of psi eg. picking up images in peoples minds- basic telepathy.

A lot of the time these are just camera tricks too. That is why you see most of their tricks only on camera. He is a great "illusionist" tho. Reminds me of the movie, Lord of Illusions.
