I'm sorry in advance if this isn't the right place to put this, but I need help and i honestly don't know how to handle this. My family has all sorts of sickness, cureable and incurable, we've always had problems. I happen to be like my mother, I have excruciating pain and doctors take tests and tests only to say,"There's nothing wrong with you." It's been years and I'm having another scan, this time for unspecified dysmenorrhea. Any advice? I'm afraid I'll just be told there's nothing wrong with me, I quickly get used to the medicine they give and tea doesn't help the pain. Is there something i can do for the pain at the very least? Thank you.
If the doctors can't find anything wrong with you, then I suggest you start to look at spiritual reasons.
It could be anything from blocked chakras to spirits to someone actively working against you. You should first meditate on it and do a little scrying.
I agree that taking a more wholistic approach may be helpful. If there are any wholistic practitioners in your area they might be worth talking to. Just be sure to listen to your instincts if they start saying odd things, or things that don't make sense
One litmus test of mine is to pay attention to their opinions of doctors and traditional medicine. If they are the sort to bang down medicine, devalue doctors, etc then it is likely they are not going to be of much help. It would be best to find a practitioner who understands modern medicine along with their own practice, and treats them as complimentary fields.
In the meantime, is there any information you can/want to share regarding the pains and illnesses themselves? What do you think causes the pain? Where does the pain usually occur? What kind of pain is it? (Burning, stabbing, aching, tension, tingling, tearing, etc) Are there certain things that trigger it? (Exercise, foods, mood, etc), Are there any patterns to when it occurs? (certain weather, times of day, etc). Does it feel like the pain is in the muscle, bone, tendons, or nerves?
The human body talks to you in a lot of ways, especially when there is something wrong. Of course especially when it comes to pain it can be hard to listen to the nuances and details because the brain is just focused on the oww-OWW-OWWW! of it. But if you can manage it, do your best to explore the pain. Try to pay attention to where it comes from and how it is behaving, it will pay dividends in helping yourself and the doctors. Starting a journal of your activities in the day and the times of when the pain starts and stops would also help. It may lead to revealing a pattern.
At first glance, it seems like this may be one of three things. At least based on the information already available. Considering this has been a long-lasting issue, and is being shared by your whole family, this problem could be environmental, hereditary, or by slim slim chance, psychosomatic. I doubt the latter, because the doctors would have likely hinted at that themselves by now. And if it was hereditary, the doctors could screen for that as well.
So the question that remains is if your family has had any testing done on the home itself. There are environmental factors that can be easily found and corrected once they are actively looked for. Some common issues that come to mind are mold/fungus, vermin in the walls or attic (Their poop gets carried on the dust), Radon rising from the ground/foundation, asbestos exposure, there could also be formaldehyde or carbon monoxide coming from somewhere (especially in older homes or ones with a gas furnace, hot water tank, or stove).
In the end, it would be wise to consider having your home environmentally tested if that avenue has not yet been explored. If your family needs convincing or evidence, a quick google search for 'mold in the home', or 'radon in the home' or any of the other topics would help bring up some good articles.
