Hi my name is Sean, I have been looking into blood magic because I took an interest in it myself. I can share with you the different practices that work as well as the safe ways to practice. There are alot of safety factor you have to take when using blood in your magic. You only need a drop to make it work. The best way is to sanitise the needle before you poke your finger and I find it best to use the blood on the wick of the candles you use in your craft. With the candles when applying to the wick cover the wick with a few drops before you light to work your spells. Never use the atheme to cut your hand because it could cause infection and loss of blood. The main thing in prepping if safety and avoiding cross contamination. Meaning don't put your self at risk or others make sure the area is completely clean before and after the spell. Blood is neutral not evil. Most people think the use of blood in spells are evil but it's the intent in which you work your spells is what determans light or dark. The main important thing is knowledge in the craft. I'm the type of person to research everything to gain a full understand of things before I use them in my spells. I think we could teach each other alot. I am also knolodgeible about herbal healing and other aspects of the craft. Blood magic can be used as sacrificial or representational magic. Using it for sacrifical magic requires spirits and other legendsary creatures. Representational can be used for emotion such as if someone hurt you deeply your blood could be used as a hex.
