Indeed it is. Especially so close to the new moon as well. Lots of energy towards release of the old, rebirth, and new beginnings.

It is fun to see how the connected symbols could tell a story. Like the sun (father) and moon (mother) coming together to mourn the ending of a cycle (the new moon). In joining (the eclipse) they set into motion the birth of a new cycle (The waxing moon) to once again continue to shine light on the world through their love even into darkness. (moon reflecting the sun to shine in the night- shining their shared love.)

Anyone else have any neat ways of using the event and the various symbols to tell a little story? it might be fun!

the energy of the elcipse can be harnessed for a number of ways, the suns energy and moons energy are equal, so you can cast almost any spell and it be twice as charged. it's also the end of an old cycle and beginning of a new, so it's the best time to do a ritual/spell to bring change, end old habits, or start working towards a goal. [that's what i did yesterday, i'm technically 2 hours into day one and it's going great... haven't left my house but i'm on a winning streak so far lol]

I went out today and the other one went into a slow spin.
