Love Poppet Request

Few nights ago my long distance boyfriend asked me to make love poppets of himself and I. Would him knowing about the poppets diminish the purpose or make the spell more effective since he is giving his full consent?

A poppet is simply used for what is called 'sympathetic' magic. That is, the poppet is simply a stand-in for the object of the working. It can help for a person not present, or for many other uses. For example, there are people who make a personal poppet, meant to intercept any negativity directed at themselves.

Whether he knows about it does not change its effectiveness. It can still fulfill a legitimate purpose.
