What do you guys think of considering yourself the goddess or deity you worship and honor?
The other day it just kind of hit me that I may be mine, but I am worried it could be insulting. Since then, I have been going around as if I am my deity and it feels amazing, I feel amazing.

I'd love opinions on this! Or, if anyone else thinks the same way, I'd love to talk to you!

We are all Gods in my beliefs.

I don't believe it's insulting taking the personality of a deity after building a strong relationship with them. Still think I am honoring my deity thinking I'm them since I do invoke instead of evoking.

While I don't believe that I am my own Deity, I do believe there is a bit of the Divine in all of us. In fact, I believe there is a bit of the Divine that is present in everything that is part of Creation.

Thinking that way makes us treat others in a kinder, more respectful way. It also makes me more respectful of the natural world and the planet we live on. It's one of the reasons why a lot of Pagans are also involved in environmental issues.

In Greek mythos, humanity as we know it was brought about by the introduction of the god Ouranos's blood to clay figurines another god made. We are technically, following that logic, divinity in our own right.

Reading these responses have made me feel SO good about this. Thank you all!

Agree with what Lark said. Relative to that, as I smoke a lot and use wooden wand, I donate to funds to save rainforests.
