i have a question

what would this be considered? you have seeds and put them on the earth below you. you then focus on what you want the seeds to do(grow into a tree), and then it starts growing fast into a tree. is that just my imagination or is that actually a type of magic?

It all depends. Some people may choose to imbue the seeds with some property, such as a vow to remember the tree as a marker in time or a symbol.

Otherwise, in my opinion, no: It is not the use of magic to watch the seed grow. However, all life is a sort of miracle, considering the infinitesimal chance that life began in the first place, and survived long enough to evolve so many forms.

Seeds grow. Some seeds fail to germinate. Focusing on a seed will not cause it to grow, nor will it prevent a seed from failing -- at least not on any provable level. If it seems to be some synchronistic event with your efforts, yo may believe what you like.

you could use it as a prosperity spell, or symbolically as the plant grows and/or the health of the tree will reflect your goal. if you mean visualize a tree growing and it instantly grows a giant oak, no. i will leave a little wiggle room and say if you nurture the seed daily, water it, talk to it, and charge energy it might grow a little faster [say a day or two faster than the average plant or produce more flowers/fruit depending on the seed] but don't expect to plant a seed and wake up with a fully grown tree the next day.
