Sweetening jar, HELP

I made a sweetening jar out of sugar and water because I was told the water would make it move faster than honey, well I put a picture of me and the person in it along with my petition. My petition was on a piece of printing paper and it dissolved, I kind of expected that since the water. Will this affect my spell in any way or not since the intention was still there?

It shouldn't be a big deal. Writing it down is simply a way for you to have a clear focus, and are able to visualize it. Since after all, it is your subconscious mind that does the work. And through laws of physics, the paper and therefore your written intent, isn't just gone. You can view the dissolved paper as your spell moving on to the next stage, if that helps.
