Sealed?

My family is very sensitive and also works with crystals alot. My grandmother could always see things and my mother sometimes when she blocked it. I've never really been involved other than some crystals affecting me (amethyst hurts when i touch it) and being able to feel other people's emotions.
I have just learned that my family had to place a seal on me or "shutting the door" as they called it, when I was young so I would stop summoning/inviting unfriendly things into our house.
My family refuse to tell me anything else about this and its frustrating...
I want to break whatever this seal is but my research isn't finding anything useful...
Can anyone help?

Well, are you sure that after breaking this seal you can prevent unintential summoning? If so I would gladly try to help you. The part about amethyst worries me though. I have a feeling there is much more to this story but if you are bent on breaking this seal I can think of numerous methods.

If your family intended for the seal to be removed by you than they likely worked some sort of "switch" into it. Perhaps when you are "ready" the seal would break. Otherwise you can attempt to break it through force. First, you must locate the "seal". Is it within you or does it acts as a barrier? Once you can feel the seal you should try to understand it. Pretty much all magic has a fatal flaw and seals are no exception. You could simply visualize the seal breaking and shove all your will power at it... or do the smart thing and see if you can unravel it with your mind. This is something you have to learn to do on your own.

Honestly, your best bet is to wait and ask your family. Spare yourself the effort of trying to break the seal and understand why it is there. Knowing that is far more important than getting rid of it.
