Ok so where do I start? It all started last year, when I was organising my room. I suddenly started to hear tick tock voices. But there was no clock in that room, I felt like the sound was coming from a box. When I opened the box I found nothing in it & suddenly it stopped. I thought it was just coming from outside I was being paranoid. After 2 days when I was sleeping I hear the sound again. I got my parents to check it out, as soon I brought them the sound stopped. They said I should stop watching so many horror movies & dismissed it. After that again after a few days break I started hearing the sound again. Then I thought maybe there was clock which was not working in my home. So I dismissed the sounds whenever they came, sure it was creepy but I didnt think there was anything paranormal activity related to it. Now I am 18 I moved out of my parents house. Its been a week since I moved, yesterday all of a sudden I started hearing some noise, it wasnt creepy but unusual. I live in a quiet neighbourhood, the noise was like mixed of cat, rat & a pigeon (I think thats what it sounded like atleast) i kept hearing that sound throughout the night, I also feel like someones watching me all the time. Whenever I am out of my house I feel normal. Do you guys think there is really something in my house? If yes, then what should I do.
Just to clarify a couple of things, are you thinking a spirit followed you from your parent's place? Are you living alone?
Just to be sure, even if there is no spirit, I personally would cleanse a new home when I move in regardless. I would look into some protection spells as well perhaps.
are you thinking a spirit followed you from your parent's place? I dont know, I am not so sure
Are you living alone? Yes, its been a week since i moved.
I dont hear those tick tock noises anymore. After I moved out I dont hear them anymore, but I am starting to hear new those new voices as I said before, I also feel like some ones watching me all the time.
Agreed. Especially if you have jut recently moved into a new place. If it feels like there is something there that shouldn't be then it is important to establish the space as yours. After all it -is- yours now. You own the right to be there.
Give the place a good physical cleaning. sweep and mop, wipe the walls, dust the shelves, vacuum, and especially wipe the moldings around the doors and windows. if you want to put a little oomph behind the cleaning, put about a 1/4 cup of salt into the mop/cleaning water, then just give a second rinse off with clean water once it has dried (to remove any unsightly residue).
Once physically cleaned, get a bit of smudge if you don't have it already. Sage, sweet-grass, sandalwood, whatever you have that's purchasable locally- it's dirt cheap. Light it to get a couple embers going, blow it out, and walk your space slowly and deliberately, starting at the main entrance, following the main walls, and focusing on any entrance or doorway such as windows, the front or back door, attic hatches, etc. All the way around, beginning and ending with the main/most often used entry. While spreading the smoke around, make a personally meaningful statement of ownership of the dwelling, and set some ground rules for what will be allowed or not. For example;
"I will not allow any darkness within my home. Only love and light may enter. Ill will shall never be welcome."
Ir any variation thereof. Just use what you are familiar with, so long as it is spoken with a genuine sense of authority and you complete the cleansing process entirely. It can be a prayer, an affirmation, a declaration, or an eviction notice.
Put a little line of salt, or a small quartz crystal if you have one over the door (or doors if you have more than one) if you want, to reaffirm the sense of being protected or laid with a threshold/barrier. And otherwise, from that point forward, just do what you can to foster and keep a positive atmosphere within your new home. Find and do things that bring you a sense of happiness and contentment. Maybe put a couple crystals in the sun if you collect them. Put up some paintings. or favorite poems. ...basically, make the place yours and make it feel like the home it should be.
