Casting spells for myself

Hello all,
I've cast a spell to bring me love, and it brought me a man that I loved but he doesn't feel the same. I'm devastated by the whole situation. Is this something that another person should have cast for me?

You likely weren't specific enough with what you asked for. You can ask to the universe to bring you love, and it did, you did feel love for this person, you never stated that you wanted them to feel the same or for them to be an suitable emotional and romantic partner for yourself.

This is less of a question about casting and more about how you worded it. If someone had cast it for you, with the same intention as yourself, you would likely have found the same outcome. The universe can do a lot, but it also takes what you say and your intention quite literally, so you need to be careful of wording.

Ideally you want to be firm and generally specific, such as "I would like to draw to me a romantic partner suited to me, that I can share love and affection with", it's more specific but shouldn't be so specific that you can't achieve the results you're looking for, so ideally not mentioning what they would look like and so on.

Another good option could be to ask the universe for what it believes to be a perfect match for you, mentally, romantically, spiritually and emotionally at that time, that way you may find someone you deeply connect with that you would have never expected yourself.
