Say what is the difference between the book of shadows and a grimore?
No jokes, just curious about them

Generally speaking:

A grimoireis a pre-made book of information, spells and rituals. It has been created by someone else for education purposes.

A book of shadows is a personal book for you to note down your own personal journey in magickal workings. Theyre for noting down your own spells and experiences with your own spells and magicks.

Personally I avoid the fantasy spell section, 99% of those spells are fake.

That being said dragon spirits are real, but much like connecting with spirit animals they are something that comes to you with time and patience, with meditation and focus if at all. They arent really something you can pick and choose the elementor make appear within a certain period of time.

Instead of just trying spells that are "cool," try spells that will really make your life better. People just keeping coming here to cast trick spells and fantasy spells, and then complain that they did not work. Most people always fail at those kinds of spells. There are people who have succeeded at those spells, but you are probably not one of them.

There are far more important things in life than growing fangs and sucking blood or getting hairy and howling at the Moon. Why not you instead burn white candles to purify your home or burn rose incense to attract love?

You can try making your own book of shadows with the help of this article:

Hatter 1313, I have these four challenges for you:

Get a nineteenth-century grimoire and cast the magical spells from it.

Get a Rigveda and practice the religious practices in it.

Get an I Ching and practice its divination.

Without ingredients, you can visualize what you want to happen and imagine how you would feel if it happened. Try visualizing a bunch of pennies, what year and letter is on each penny and the details and conditions of each penny.

I don't personally work with dragonic magick or dragon spirits, so I can't be of much help with the specifics of this branch of practice, sorry.
