My friend needs help

Within my coven one of my friends is currently in a relationship. One of our outside friends has been in love with her for a few years now but only made it known to me a few weeks ago. We have tried to ignore it but we are getting increasingly worried since he's now made it his mission to "show her he's better" than her boyfriend.

My friend would rather no harm come to him as do I. We are wondering if anyone has any suggestion for spells or charms that would help him move on, fall out of love, or stop pursing her? She doesn't want him to create tension in her current relationship and to understand that he's only a friend to her.

*She has repeatedly made it clear that its only a friendship and she has no interest but he is adamant. He is also a coworker.

Yes you can put up a love block on her. Especially if you’re working this spell with her it should work great. Use blocking associations (black and pink candles, salt, and maybe a sigil?) and do the spell with her. I don’t even think I would cast it on him, I’d cast it on her. A spell to discourage new lovers.
