Glad to be here!

Hello, community, I am glad to be here. This is very new to me. I have been seeking in earnest for about 2 weeks now. An experience has led me to find out as much information as I can about both, or all paths. I have absolutely no experience at all with magick, except I can usually easily communicate with a spirit, and I know how and can pretty easily ground and center myself. I do know how to meditate and have begun to do that more often now, in preparation for engaging in the practice of magick. I don't even know where to start, regarding using and/or practicing magick. I hope to join a coven soon, when I am able to contribute something useful. I invite you to send me a message and introduce yourself. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, I am learning volumes of information daily. I have not yet applied any of my new knowledge. I want to make sure I know enough so as not to cause harm or be inadvertently disrespectful to any deities or entities in my rookie ignorance. And I'm not sure what I want to accomplish yet, but I'm very interested in writing my own spell.

I was thinking I would like to cast my first spell on Halloween, as a first step on this path. It was my grandmother's birthday, who I believe practiced a craft of some kind. And obviously a significant moment in the year for those who practice magick. This is an enormous departure for me. I don't take it lightly. So I want it to be memorable.
