Is my spell working?

I did a spell for a friend of mine for an ex of hers, it was a simple karma spell that I have had good experience with, but she doesn't have any sort of contact with her ex so she has no idea if a spell is working or not. Does anyone have a general idea if a spell is working or not, and just in general for all spells,

What was this spell meant to accomplish? I assume that this means you are meant to send someone bad luck. Personally, I would let Karma deal with it all on her own and not try to push her power. You would need to have faith in yourself and the spells you cast, doubting it will lower its chances of working. You can try using divination to find out how he is doing currently. Spells take time to work, so it's not an overnight thing (usually), so patience is always a requirement when casting spells.

The only way to have any idea if your attempt worked is by divination.

Tred you can't go back, only move forwards and try to resolve the issue you're facing in the future.

But isn't there time travel spells

Time travel isn't possible with or without magick, there is no going back, only moving forwards.

Spells cannot do what you can't already do without them. They cannot break natural laws, including time travel.
