I have come to terms with death, well I have for a long time. I now embrace it, not in the way that I want to die soon, just that I know it's not as bad as I always though it was in my younger days. I think everyone has an idea of how they want it to be when they finish this life there curently in. I am going to share with you all what I would like once I have finished this life. Then if you all want too you can share your ideas, comments, and so on. Blessed be.
I have decided I would like to be creamated, I believe that me being burried is a little waste of time and space. I would like to have a small funeral, after being creamated of course. Although, it may be sad for some of my passing, but I don't want a funeral of that type. I want that celebrates my life, I mean atleast I got a chance to live this life you know? I would like my ashes taken care of in a special way. I would like someone more then likley myself before hand or a family member after to buy a small piece of land deep in the woods or a forest which everone. I would like them to dig a hole and place my ashes within. After so I would like a tree planted in the same hole, there for as the tree grows, I will, in a way, become part of it. I mean if my soul will be reiencarnated, why not my body? I would like a simple stone of my full name and birth and death date, just to show who is there. I would not mind to have a few benches around the area, with lots of flowers and nature.
Very nice, cremating also returns the soul to the etheric state from which it came, so it is very symbolic in nature based religions. Here is a better question, what is your soul going to do after your body passes, be reborn on this plane for another life, or continue your learning on the higher planes of existence, now that interests me more ;)
Well for me thats not a question I can really answer, because I honestly don't know. But I do have this theory about reiencartnation like I believe when I pass from this life, I will go to the Summerland, and we will review most of our past lives, unless of course I am a new soul, but I believe I am an old one lol, and after so I will have the choice to rest and catch up before returning, while doing it all over again untill I reach my final reiencarnation, which after that, I really don't know what will happen, but I am guessing it is good lol, hope I answered your question lol.
Very good, you have quite a good understanding about the afterlife, and yes indeed you are an older soul, so depending on the way you live this life you have some seriously good things which lay ahead of you ;)

wow its so nice to hear some one putting back to nature instead of just taking and ur knowlage of the summerlands u are well advanced beyond ur yrs it clearly shows u have done ur research and ur knowlage of death is outstanding , it isnt something to fear only another adventure and with sahiam coming up soon it will be intresting t hear what u have planned blessed be and thank u for such an intresting thread xx
Aw thank you for such kind words. And for Samhain I plan on decorating my altar with pictures of lost family and friends, and various objects from them that were passed on to me. I plan on doing a simple Cakes and Ale offering ritual to the ones above and to the ones who have pased. I do plan on visiting a few graves and connecting with those I have lost. I also plan on decoritaing my altar with things that are availabe in nature at the time, simple but I believe it pleases the ones above very much.
I totally agree with you on the cremation, it seems that so many want to be buried when it is such a true waste. I am not there in that body anymore, why save it? I love the idea of having a special space for people to sit under a tree that your ashes helped to nourish and grow. I think your wishes are totally reasonable and really wonderful. voice them thouroughly and often to make sure it gets done the way you want. bless you and may you live long and happy.
