Not really here for questions, just looking for someone to share insight into practicing and growing with magick. If anybody wants to talk, feel free! (Can’t figure out how to change thread... sorry Lark or someone you might have to move me )

Your in the right category [maybe need to move to misc topics, but if you're wanting to discuss spells then it's fine]

So growing in your path, little daily routines can help. Daily meditation for example, you don't have to sit cross legged in silence for an hour, you could sit outside with your morning cup of coffee/tea/whatever and just observe the world around you. Deep breathing exercises can also help [you can do it while waiting for the kettle to boil] also daily grounding/shielding can help you connect with the energy around you [also, when you have a shower, you can visualize negative energy being washed away, a way to take a daily routine and add a little magick into it. Same goes with cleaning]

Look at your daily routine and see little ways you can add magick. A blessing before meals for example, saying a protection when you lock your door in the morning, a couple sun salutations facing east to welcome the morning sun and honour the god/goddess.

You might also wish to look into kitchen witchcraft, so when you're cooking you know the magickally properties of the food and can add energy as needed [if you had a hard day, adding ingredients with love or healing energy, or if you need luck before a test, herbs with luck energy] everything has energy, so doing a little google search [magickal properties of blank] before cooking can add some magick to your mundane.

If you can get a copy, I recommend A Year and a Day of Everyday Witchcraft by Deborah Blake [actually, she has 2 other books Goddess is in the Details and Everyday Witchcraft which helps you incorporate your path into the daily routine] this book is like those word a day calendars, each page is a little tidbit about something with a little 'something to try' at the bottom.
