Magick and bonzai trees

Hello, For Christmas, I was gifted with a grow your own bonzai tree kit. It's supposed to grow into a cedar tree and I was wondering if there was any way I can put it into my magick practice. It's mere seeds for now and I plan to plant and start growing them when I'm back in my dorm and back with my altar.

Cedar is already a useful and sacred item, and holds magical properties on its own. Here is a link to fully disclose all the uses of Cedar Wood, and aside from providing information on Cedar itself i would only say to care and love for your new gift and hope it grows strong.
