showing astral?

Ok, I was wondering if you astral project and you decide to stay in this realm, can you show your astral self to somebody like when ghosts show up?

You cannot stay in the astral realm, you will eventually be pulled back into your physical body. Although, I have heard some say that if your astral self remains in the astral plane, your physical body will die.

I believe Nonstop was asking about projecting to travel the physical plane rather than the non-physical.

NonstopLD, some people would call it ethereal projection, as that is the name some call the non-physical aspect of the world we experience. However, I only say that to add clarity to my post, and not as a criticism.

In this case, I have heard some claims that someone may 'sense' a presence or something, though it remains unproven. Results vary about as accurately as remote viewing: some people who attempt remote viewing have results far from the truth, while a few have a very accurate experience. Sadly, the people who want to prove the validity of remote viewing and ethereal projection tend to ignore or dismiss everything which does not seem to show the results they want, while people who do not believe will focus on every slight inaccuracy. These kinds of behaviors do nothing to help lend any actual validity to any claims.

Here is my belief on the matter:

I share the opinion that even fully immersive experiences with any sort of projection are not that of actually departing one's body, but of 'extending the perception' to these other realms and places. The difference (again, my opinion only) is that ethereal projection is akin to remote viewing, except it is a more immersive experience. It is extremely unlikely that a person doing such spiritual journeying would be able to interact with any physical objects, though I think there is some remote possibility that a sensitive person may sense the prying eyes.
