Hello everyone out there. So I came here in the hopes of learning how to practice magic. There has been magic in my family for many generations yet my grandma was unable to teach me. So here I am to learn.

*So far I've been learning bits and pieces from my friend who isn't a first generation witch either

Welcome to the site Xendrick! I believe you will find what you need is to educate and train yourself, much like sports to get better and stronger you have to train your muscles and actively stay fit. Same thing with magick we have to learn and practice what we learn to get better and more accurate. Importantly enough you don't need to have an ancestor who practices to practice yourself. If you honestly want to learn read the first four pages of General Info and you'll be all the better, take notes and remember the basics list.

Basic's List: Tools, Meditation , Visualization , Focus , Moon Phases, Colors, Days, Grounding and Centering , Energy Work , Elements , Circle Casting , Chakras . - (The underlined ones are the most important to a newbie, the whole list is crucial to learn but one should pay attention to those in particular in my opinion.)

Everything on the list to me is important because it's how i learned for myself, some of what my family was teaching me just was not clicking until i found other witches with the same ideas and views. Its also important to know your mind is all you need to cast spells, but first you have to understand what magick is and how it work's, what it can and can not do etc etc

Anyways start in General Info, keep notes, remember the basic's list and branch off from them, that list is meant to expand into other subjects you may find useful as you go along. Welcome Xendrick again to the site and blessed be!
