I'm not new to the occult, I've been reading about it here and there and always practice the basics. meditation, visualisation and grounding. energy manipulation as well. But I have NEVER casted a spell, let alone curse/hex someone. I need something powerful, however, I have a worry that it's going to backfire on me or get bad karma to come into my life.
My question is: even though they have scarred me for life, will I be affected by bad karma by cursing them? if not, what is the most powerful way to strike him down?

A picture or anything hair ect. Get pepper,chili powder or a spicy powder,paper and writing tool. Write their name and what they done. Gold it three times AWAY from you. Now get a jar and hit water. Put the paper,pepper and spicy powder in. Put lid on and shake while chanting " be hurt, be burnt, you shall pay for all my hurt i speak it be! "

Before you cast anything, might I suggest what spells are actually capable of before asking for something of this caliper.
I am empathetic to your situation, don't get me wrong. I just don't think a revenge spell is what's going to resolve this anger for you. As much as I'd love to see certain people in my life rot, it's just not worth the energy.

You don't necessarily need to build a bond with an entity, you just have to gain their attention and give them something that's worth their time. For example, if you decide to summon a demon, some may want something along the lines offood or alcohol,and some may want a few drops of blood. If you are comfortable with your ability to communicate with spirits, it should be almost intuitive of what they are looking for. If you feel like they're asking for something you can't provide, or for you to do something that you know isdangerous andmay end in you being seriously injured, you can ask them to leave and move to someone else. Just be sure to thank them for their time.
Also try to steer clear of summoninganything in a salt circle. Make the salt circle around yourself,for yourself, if you're uncomfortable. I mean how would you feel being called into a room only to be tied to a chair and told to run errands? Not very good I presume.
