Ever since I joined this website, I've been studying all about magic, herbs, spirit animals, and elements. I know that your element is the one you feel most connected too, but I sorta feel connected to all of them but I'm still not sure. How can I be sure?

Firstly , you do not have a particular element , you have all of them within you.
As for your question ,You can try meditating on it , or simply look within yourself .
If you still feel connected to all of them , equally , then congraulations to you. You are connected to all of the elements.
It means you are well balanced and well rounded in terms of this , which is better than those that are extremely connected to only one or two.

Well, one would look to their astrological element (for example, I am a Taurus, so my element would be Earth) but that is not the case. You can meditate and seek out the element you are connected to. This is much better than following your astrological element. The four elements are: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and depending on belief, there is a fifth element which is Spirit. You can be connected to all of the elements as well, not just one. Keep these points I have made in mind in order to find your element correctly.

All individuals are connected to all of the elements. You are made up of all four. To ask which you "are" would be like asking "Am I the circulatory system? Or am I the nervous system?"
However, you may be more comfortable working with one out of the four. This provides a firm basis for exploring the nature of the elements, and developing a comfort in working with the remaining elements.

It isn't very likely the member that posted the post you are discussing will respond to you.
That said by the elements and being connected the member was speaking of those elements commonly found within pagan practices ie, earth, and fire.
I myself have not heard anyone before in the pagan community speak of light or dark elements.

Merry Meet,
Light and dark are not considered elements, but you are both, just as you are all of the elements. It is about finding a balance and gaining wisdom from these aspects. Darkness cannot exist without light, stars cannot shine without darkness. Connecting with your lighter, more positive attributes as well as the darker, negative ones, will lead you on a more connected path. Too much of either can be a bad thing.
